The project consists of following sub projects: 

a) 220 kV Kaligandaki Transmission Corridor Subproject

 b) 220 kV Marsyangdi – Kathmandu Transmission Line Subproject 

c) 220 kV Marsayangdi Transmission Corridor Subproject

d) Samundratar-Trishuli 3B Hub 132 kV Transmission Line subproject 

e) Distribution System Expansion in Eastern, Central and Western Nepal subproject and

f) Grid Substation reinforcement subproject.

These projects lie in the Myagdi, parbat, Baglung, Syangja, Palpa, Rupandehi, Nawalparasi, Kathmandu, Chitwan, Gorkha, Tanahun, Manang, Lamjung Districts. The above transmission line projects length is approximately 300 km. and it covers majorly hilly region of the Nepal. 220 KV Dana Substation is at approx.1420 m and Kushma 220 kV Substation at altitude approx.1321m, New Butwal 220 kV Substation at 126 m altitude level. Matatirtha 220 kV GIS Substation level approx.1419 m., Khudi 220 kV Substation level approx. 940 m, Udipur 220 kV level approx. 660 m.

Jade Consult is  providing assistance in (i) ensuring quality in project implementation ii) supervision during construction, testing and commissioning of the different sub projects iii) Assist NEA to update the IEE/EIA and EMPs for the Individual sub projects, Review on Social and Environmental Monitoring Report, Prepare and Update land acquisition and resettlement plan. Preparation of social safeguard monitoring report and Ensure compliance with ADB for the subprojects as  mentioned above.
